This website was started to honor our son and to share with others
why a 17 year old would protect his 2 younger
sisters by covering them with his own body during a vehicular accident
even though it meant being thrown out to his death.
That same accident snapped the Mitral Valve cords to Dennis' heart, and fractured several ribs.
We believe it was because our son had a different group of heroes.
He became well aquainted with Bible heros as a child, always trying to
live up to the examples he learned about in the many tools we had the privilege
of making available to our children.

The Doctors felt open heart surgery should happen as soon as possible.
We decided to wait until after our son's funeral.
Then the cardiologist decided Dennis was stabilizing, so it might be better
to wait until his ribs were healed.
During this time we began learning about what we could do to improve
Dennis'condition. As vegetarians we decided try being vegan and eliminating all
animal fat thereby making it easier for the heart to work and keep his arteries clean.
By doing this we were able to put off the surgery for almost 8 years.
We also began juicing which increased our energy.
We have included other products that were helpful in our search for better health.
